Katja Ladentin has been working as a freelance artist since the 2022/2023 season and has celebrated great success as Mrs. Lovett and the Beggar Woman in Sweeney Todd at Staatstheater Mainz.

While she was still engaged in the opera chorus until the end of 2022, she already sang roles such as the 1st Maid, the Page of Herodias, Flosshilde, Zita, Xenia’s Nurse, Marta/Pantalis and Bianca in Rape of Lucretia, Mrs. Goose and many others. She has also appeared as a soloist in symphony concerts and chamber music matinees.

Other guest engagements have taken her to the Detmolder Landestheater, Theater Regensburg and Theater Freiburg.
